Stöv is a new company with a dream.
Their users are able to search different recipes on their app, watch quick how-to videos, and order all of the ingredients - fresh, and at their doorstep within an hour.
The team was leaning towards an upscale, mature and luxurious feel to their branding - something that would set them apart and make their users feel like five star chefs, in the comfort of their own homes.
Steam comes from the 'V' - our "bowl," and also represents the 'S' for Stöv. The team noted that delivery drivers will have fully branded shirts as well, so this t-shirt and tote are a great example of what is possible. A vintage-style crest completes the package, with the name and year of establishment.
For type, the team agreed upon something that was inviting and easy to read. Lemon Milk and Arboria Light were chosen to communicate with users.
Emphasis on mouthwatering food pictures was a top request from testing. We worked with photographers who specifically know and love food to grasp a specific clean and mature look.
Chosen colors invoke a sense of warm - fresh herbs, cast iron pans, a nice meal shared with loved ones. White touches and fluid details round it out, giving a clean, modern feel.
Based on testing, our users lean towards ads that are more inviting, and less sales-y. An image of food on the forefront along with a question that hooks them in was proving to be a great way to increase user click-though rates.
More cohesive design allows a sense of ease while checking out Stöv on different platforms.
Post-consumer recycled cardboard is the base for packaging, with intentional details and strategic branding.
